Also known as slides, the bowl piece is a removable part of the bong in which dry herb is packed and combusted. Bowls are interchangeable and there are a few fitting sizes to be aware of:
14mm is the most common
19mm is common on larger bongs
Acrylic bongs usually come with 9mm pull-out bowls
